The BSM-6-60 is a 2x2 MIMO omnidirectional antenna for fixed cellular routers and modems. It covers 617-960 MHz and 1427-6000 MHz, including Band 71, and suits industrial and domestic IoT, cellular routers and M2M connections. FAQ
Do I need to aim this antenna?
No. The BS[G]M-6-60 has an omnidirectional pattern, so Panorama recommends placing it in an elevated position with no directional alignment. That suits sites where towers sit in more than one direction or where the strongest tower may change. If the nearest tower is far away in one known direction, a directional antenna is usually the better tool.
Which connector version should I order?
This listing is the BSM-6-60-5SP. Its 5 m cables end in SMA male plugs, which connect directly to most router SMA ports. Choose the BSM-6-60-05NJ if you need a longer run, since its N-type leads let you use lower-loss cable. Panorama also lists FAKRA and N-male versions.
Can I get it with GPS?
Yes. Panorama offers the BSGM-6-60, which adds an integrated GPS/GNSS module with a 26 dB LNA to the same 2x2 cellular antenna. RCN lists the BSM version without GPS here. Ask an RCN specialist if your router needs a GPS input from the same antenna.
