Product Overview
The WMM8G-7-38 is a directional 2x2 MIMO antenna for sites where the nearest tower is far away or the signal is weak. Aimed at the serving tower, it delivers up to 9 dBi from 1710 to 3800 MHz and 6 dBi in the 700/800 MHz bands, which can lift a rural or fringe-area connection.
It comes with wall, mast and desk mounting options and a choice of cable ends: 5 m (16 ft) with SMA male plugs, or 0.3 m (12 in) with N-type female connectors for your own low-loss cable run. The housing is rated IP65.

FAQ
Do I need to aim this antenna?
Yes. The WMM8G-7-38 is directional, so it performs best pointed at the serving tower. Use your router's signal readings to fine-tune the direction during installation. In return for the aiming work, Panorama lists up to 9 dBi of peak gain, which helps most at sites far from the nearest tower.
SMA or N-type: which version should I order?
Order the -5SP if the router is within 5 m (16 ft); it plugs straight into SMA female ports. Order the -03NJ if you need a longer run. Its 0.3 m leads end in N-type female connectors so you can add lower-loss cable of the right length. Extension cables for the -03NJ are sold separately.
Does it cover 5G?
Panorama lists the WMM8G-7-38 from 698 to 3800 MHz, which covers LTE and mid-band 5G up to 3.8 GHz. It does not cover 600 MHz Band 71 or bands above 3.8 GHz. Check which bands your carrier uses at the site before choosing a directional antenna.
