Product Overview

The Panorama DWMM4-6-60 is a 4x4 MIMO antenna for fixed-site and failover routers at branch offices, retail stores, cabinets and remote sites. Its omnidirectional pattern means it does not have to be aimed at a tower, which keeps installation simple for IT and facilities teams.

Four separately fed elements cover 617-960 and 1427-6000 MHz with peak gain up to 7 dBi. The supplied bracket mounts it to a wall with screws and plugs or to a mast up to 50 mm with clamps, and it can also be screwed to a non-conductive panel or stood on a desk using the supplied feet. The white ASA housing is rated IP66, and the integrated flame-retardant CS32 cables keep connector joints out of the weather.

Choose the cable and connector that suits your run. The DWMM4-6-60-5SP has four 5 m (16 ft) cables ending in SMA male connectors that plug directly into most routers. The DWMM4-6-60-05NJ has four 0.5 m (1.6 ft) cables ending in N-type female connectors, for longer runs using your own low-loss N-type cable.

Right for you if

  • Your fixed-site router has four cellular ports.
  • You want an outdoor-rated antenna that does not need to be aimed.
  • You will mount on an exterior wall, a mast or inside on a desk.
  • You need either a ready-to-plug 5 m SMA cable or N-type for a longer run.

How it compares

The Panorama DW-IN2713 kit is this antenna with N-type connectors plus four 10 m cables in the box, for installs where the router is farther away. In weak-signal areas where you can aim at a tower, the Panorama WMM4G-6-60 directional panel provides up to 9 dBi. For an indoor desk or window install, the Panorama DMM4-6-60 is smaller and portable.

Common deployments

  • Branch offices and retail stores using cellular for primary or failover WAN
  • Remote cabinets, kiosks and utility sites with a mast or wall mount
  • Temporary sites that need a desk-mounted 4x4 MIMO antenna

FAQ

Should I choose SMA or N-type?
Choose the DWMM4-6-60-5SP if your router is within 5 meters of the antenna; its SMA male cables plug directly into most routers. Choose the DWMM4-6-60-05NJ if the run is longer, then use low-loss N-type cable to reach the router. Longer thin cable loses more signal than heavier cable.

Do I need to aim this antenna?
No. Panorama describes the DWMM4-6-60 as omnidirectional, which allows easy placement without directional alignment. That makes it a good fit when the nearest tower location is unknown or when several carriers are in use. If you need more gain toward a known tower, a directional panel is the better choice.

Can it be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The DWMM4-6-60 is rated IP66 and operates from -40 to +85 °C. The supplied bracket supports wall mounting with screws and plugs and mast mounting on poles up to 50 mm using the supplied clamps. Integrated cables minimize exposed connector joints.

Will it work with a dual-modem router?
The DWMM4-6-60 has four separately fed cellular elements across 617-6000 MHz. It is designed as a 4x4 MIMO antenna. If you plan to split the elements between two modems, confirm the setup with an RCN specialist, because isolation and coverage requirements depend on the router and carriers.
