Product Overview
The Panorama LGAM4-7-42, known as the Clam, is a low profile 4x4 MIMO antenna built for IoT gateways, kiosks, cabinets and vehicles in public or harsh locations. Its curved housing is harder to vandalize, carries an IK10 impact rating, and is sealed to IP69K.
Four 4G LTE / 5G NR elements cover 698-960 and 1427-4200 MHz, and one GPS/GNSS element with a 26 dB LNA covers 1559-1612 MHz. The radome is flame retardant, impact resistant and UV stable. It ships with 2 m integrated low-loss cables that meet UN ECE R118 and mounts through a 3/4 in (M18) bush on conductive or non-conductive panels.

FAQ
Does the LGAM4-7-42 cover all 5G bands?
The four cellular elements cover 698-960 MHz and 1427-4200 MHz. That includes most LTE bands and the 3.3-4.2 GHz range used for 5G mid-band and C-band. It does not cover the 617-698 MHz Band 71 range or frequencies above 4.2 GHz, so confirm your carrier bands if those matter.
How rugged is the Clam housing?
The housing is built from flame retardant, impact resistant plastic with a UV-stable finish. It carries an IK10 impact rating, the top of the IK scale, and IP69K ingress protection. Panorama designed the curved shape to be harder to vandalize, which suits devices located in public areas.
Does it need a metal mounting surface?
No. Panorama states the LGAM4-7-42 can be installed on conductive or non-conductive panels without significant detriment to performance. It mounts through a 3/4 inch (M18) hole using its mounting bush, so it can go on a vehicle roof, a cabinet top or a non-metal enclosure.
What cables and connectors are included?
The antenna has five integrated 2 meter (6.6 feet) CS30 low-loss cables that comply with UN ECE R118. The four cellular cables and the GPS cable all terminate in SMA plugs, which connect directly to most cellular routers and IoT gateways with SMA female ports.
