The GPSD4-6-60-D is a 7-in-1 advanced 4G/5G, and GPS/GNSS antenna with a dual sharkfin style housing. The dual fin design provides multiple antenna functions while remaining discreet and is suitable for public safety (overt/covert), industrial and transport applications, where a cost-effective, efficient and robust antenna is essential.
Configured in a robust shark fin style housing, the ultra-wideband 4x4 MIMO cellular antenna elements cover all 5G LTE spectrum frequencies worldwide (617-960/1427-6000 MHz), including LTE band 71 (617 to 698 MHz). The housing also contains MIMO dual-band WiFi antennas which support WiFi 6e. There is an active GPS/GNSS antenna with a 26dB gain LNA and advanced filtering for LTE Band 13/14 operation. An integral mounting stud for an external antenna whip is provided, with a blanking cap supplied if this function is not required.
The antenna must be installed on a metal panel when a comms whip is used, otherwise, it may be fitted on a non-metallic panel while still offering similar performance. Requiring only a single hole mounting, the antenna reduces vehicle damage, installation time, and cost and visual impact. The rugged dome is built from heavy-duty plastic for extra durability. It includes a bottom gasket for reliable sealing and conductive pads for superior grounding. The GPSD4-6-60-D is IP69K certified, assuring it withstands water and dust for safe operation outdoors.
The antenna includes 1-foot RF cables; however, this length is often too short for most installations, particularly vehicles. So for longer cables, consider the GP-IN2680 antenna kit which includes this GPSD4-6-60-D antenna and 5-meter long cables (one cable for each antenna element) terminating with SMA connectors.
