Panorama BATGM-7-60-24-58 5-in-1 Dash Mount Antenna, 2x2 MIMO 4G/5G, 2x2 Wi-Fi, GPS

The Panorama BATGM is a dash mount antenna for telematics and vehicle routers where drilling the roof is not an option. It mounts on or under the dashboard with an adhesive pad and keeps cellular, GPS/GNSS and Wi-Fi inside the cab, out of sight.

Two isolated cellular elements cover 698-960 and 1710-6000 MHz for 2x2 MIMO 4G and 5G with fallback to 3G and 2G. The GPS/GNSS element has a 26 dB LNA, and the BATGM-7-60-24-58 adds two dual-band 2.4/5.0 GHz Wi-Fi elements. Up to five integrated 3 m cables are flame retardant and meet UN ECE R118. The antenna can also be mounted on any non-conductive surface.

Two configurations are offered. The BATGM-7-60-24-58 has five elements: two cellular, one GPS/GNSS and two Wi-Fi. The BATGM-7-60 has three elements: two cellular and one GPS/GNSS, with no Wi-Fi. Both use 3 m integrated cables.

FAQ

Where does the BATGM mount?
Panorama designed the BATGM to mount on or under a vehicle dashboard using its adhesive pad. It can also be mounted on any non-conductive surface. Because the antenna sits inside the vehicle, cellular signal depends on the glass and body around it, so a location with a clear view through the windshield is best.

How long are the cables?
All integrated cables are 3 meters (10 feet) long. The cellular and Wi-Fi feeds use CS32 cable and the GPS feed uses flame-retardant RG174, all meeting UN ECE R118. Cellular and GPS terminate in SMA plugs, and the Wi-Fi feeds on the BATGM-7-60-24-58 terminate in reverse-polarity SMA plugs.

Does it support 5G?
The two cellular elements cover 698-960 MHz and 1710-6000 MHz, which includes the 3.5 GHz and other mid-band frequencies used for 5G, with fallback to 4G, 3G and 2G. It does not cover the 617-698 MHz Band 71 range. It is a 2x2 MIMO antenna.

What is the difference between the two options?
The BATGM-7-60-24-58 has five elements: two cellular, one GPS/GNSS and two Wi-Fi. The BATGM-7-60 has three elements: two cellular and one GPS/GNSS. Choose the Wi-Fi version only if your router has Wi-Fi antenna ports and you want to extend Wi-Fi coverage in the cab.
