Product Overview

The Panorama TK4SP2SPRVGPSME is a starter antenna kit designed specifically for the Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900 router. It gives an engineer, integrator or IT team everything needed to bring an R1900 online for a demonstration, a bench test or a customer proof of concept without sourcing antennas one at a time.

The kit contains seven antennas: four cellular paddle antennas covering 698-960 and 1710-3800 MHz, two dual-band Wi-Fi paddle antennas for 2.4 and 5 GHz, and one magnetic GPS/GNSS antenna that covers the GPS, BeiDou and Galileo constellations. Panorama describes it as a simple plug-and-play set for instant connectivity. For a permanent vehicle or fixed-site install, a roof, panel or wall antenna with longer cables is usually the better long-term choice.

Right for you if

  • You are setting up a Cradlepoint R1900 for a demo, lab test or proof of concept.
  • You want all seven antenna positions on the router covered by one part number.
  • The router will sit on a desk or bench rather than in a vehicle or enclosure.
  • You need GPS/GNSS location on the R1900 without running a roof antenna.

How it compares

The TK4SP2SPRVGPSME is a starter set: the antennas sit at the router, so performance depends on where the router is placed. For a permanent install, the Panorama LG-IN2445 7-in-1 dome kit puts four cellular, two Wi-Fi and one GPS element in a single panel-mount dome with 5 m cables, and the Panorama GP-IN2680 Dual Sharkee kit does the same in a sharkfin housing for vehicles. For an indoor install where the router is in a closet, the Panorama DMM4-6-60 desk mount antenna moves the four cellular elements to a window or desk on 2 m cables.

Common deployments

  • Sales engineering demos and customer proof-of-concept builds for the Cradlepoint R1900
  • Lab and bench testing of R1900 configurations before field rollout
  • Temporary or pilot sites where the router has a clear view of the sky for GPS

FAQ

Which router is this kit made for?
Panorama designed the TK4SP2SPRVGPSME specifically for the Ericsson Cradlepoint R1900. The kit supplies four cellular antennas, two Wi-Fi antennas and one GPS/GNSS antenna to cover those connections on the router. If you are using a different router, compare its port count and connector types with the terminations on the Panorama flyer before ordering.

Does this kit cover 5G?
The cellular paddle antennas cover 698-960 MHz and 1710-3800 MHz, which includes the 3.4-3.8 GHz range used for some 5G service. They do not cover the 617-698 MHz band or frequencies above 3800 MHz. For full 617-6000 MHz coverage, look at the Panorama LG-IN2445 or Dual Sharkee kits instead.

Is this kit suitable for a permanent installation?
Panorama positions this kit for demonstrations and customer proofs of concept. Because the paddle antennas sit on the router itself, signal depends on where the router is placed. For vehicles, enclosures or buildings with weak coverage, a roof, panel or wall antenna on extension cables will usually perform better over time.

How does the GPS/GNSS antenna mount?
The GPS/GNSS antenna is a compact magnetic unit measuring about 48.6 by 39.2 millimeters with a 0.2 meter lead. It works best placed with a clear view of the sky, such as near a window. It receives GPS, BeiDou and Galileo signals in the 1562-1612 MHz range.

Can I pay by purchase order or get a formal quote?
Yes. Use the request-a-quote link below to ask for a formal quote or to pay by purchase order, or call an RCN specialist. RCN can also confirm whether this kit or a permanent antenna is the better fit for your R1900 deployment before you order.
