Panorama LG-IN2350 Mako Dome 7-in-1 Low Profile Antenna Kit, 4x4 MIMO 4G/5G, 2x2 Wi-Fi, GPS

The Panorama Mako Dome is a low profile 4x4 MIMO antenna kit for vehicular cellular routers. At 48 mm (1.9 in) high and 170 mm across, it suits public safety fleets, utilities and transit vehicles that want a discreet dome on the roof or a cabinet.

Four ultra-wideband elements cover 698-960 and 1710-3800 MHz for 4G and 5G cellular bands. The GPS/GNSS module has a 26 dB LNA and carries E11 type approval under ECE R10.4, and the LG-IN2350 adds two dual-band Wi-Fi elements. The antenna does not require a metal ground plane, and the dome is rated IP69K.

Two configurations are offered. The LG-IN2350 kit is based on the LGMDM4-7-38-24-58 antenna with four cellular, two Wi-Fi and one GPS/GNSS element (7-in-1). The LG-IN2383 kit is based on the LGMM4-7-38 antenna with four cellular elements and GPS/GNSS, with no Wi-Fi (5-in-1).

Right for you if

• You want a very low profile dome on a vehicle or cabinet.
• Your router has four cellular ports and your carrier bands fall within 698-3800 MHz.
• The mounting surface may be non-metallic.
• You may run a dual-SIM router in failover mode with one SIM active at a time.

How it compares

The Panorama LG-IN2445 dome kit is the newer 7-in-1 dome with cellular coverage extended to 617-6000 MHz and 5 m cables included. For a sharkfin style with a radio whip position, see the Panorama Dual Sharkee GP-IN2680 kit. For a rugged IoT install without Wi-Fi, the Panorama LGAM4-7-42 Clam is rated IK10 and IP69K.

Common deployments

• Public safety and utility fleet vehicles with 4x4 MIMO routers
• Transit vehicles and mobile command units that need a discreet roof antenna
• Cabinets and enclosures with non-metallic tops

FAQ

Can I use it with a dual-SIM router?
Panorama states the four cellular elements can be used as two 2x2 MIMO pairs for a router with two SIMs in a failover configuration, where only one SIM is active at a time. It is not intended for concurrent or aggregated dual-SIM operation, because isolation between the pairs is not sufficient.

Does the Mako Dome cover 5G?
The four cellular elements cover 698-960 MHz and 1710-3800 MHz, which includes the 3.5 GHz range used for some 5G service. It does not cover the 617-698 MHz range or frequencies above 3.8 GHz. For full 617-6000 MHz coverage, consider the Panorama LG-IN2445 kit.

Does it need a metal roof?
No. Panorama states the antenna does not require a metallic ground plane and maintains a high level of performance on non-metallic surfaces. It panel mounts through a single 19 mm (3/4 inch) hole in panels up to 7 mm thick, and the dome is rated IP69K for exterior use.

What is the difference between LG-IN2350 and LG-IN2383?
The LG-IN2350 includes four cellular elements, two Wi-Fi elements and GPS/GNSS, for seven connections. The LG-IN2383 includes four cellular elements and GPS/GNSS, for five connections, and omits Wi-Fi. Choose the LG-IN2383 if your router has no Wi-Fi antenna ports or you do not need Wi-Fi.
