Product Overview
The LP-IN2443 is the cellular-only member of the Mako family. It gives a 4x4 MIMO router four external 4G/5G elements in one low-profile dome, with no GPS or Wi-Fi cables to manage. It suits fixed sites, cabinets and vehicles where only the WAN link needs an external antenna.
The kit pairs the Panorama LPMM4-6-60 antenna with factory-fitted 5 m (16 ft) flame-retardant cables that end in SMA male plugs. The dome is rated IP69K and IK10, mounts through a single hole and does not need a metallic ground plane.

FAQ
Can I split the four cellular elements between two modems?
Panorama designs the four LTE elements for 4x4 MIMO. They can be wired as two 2x2 pairs on a dual-SIM router that runs in failover, with only one SIM or radio active at a time. Panorama states the antenna is not intended for concurrent or aggregated dual-modem use, because isolation between the pairs is not sufficient for it.
Does the dome need a metal roof or ground plane?
No. Panorama states that none of the antennas in the Mako range require a metallic ground plane, and that they keep a high level of performance on non-metallic surfaces. That covers non-metallic roofs and panels as well as steel vehicle roofs and equipment cabinet tops, so one part number can serve a mixed fleet.
What connectors are on the cables?
The LP-IN2443 ships with four 5 m (16 ft) flame-retardant cables fitted at the factory, one per cellular element, and each ends in an SMA male plug. Panorama also lists a loose-cable (-LC) version of this kit. If your router uses a different connector, ask RCN about adapters or another kit.
