Product Overview
The GPSB5G is the compact Sharkee for vehicles that need one cellular antenna, dual-band Wi-Fi and GPS, plus a mount for a two-way radio whip. Panorama designed it as the latest version of its original Sharkee, in an OEM automotive-style housing that suits fleets short on roof space.
The antenna has separate connectors for each function: SMA male for cellular, SMA female for Wi-Fi, FME female for GPS and FME male for the whip. It is rated IP66 and operates from -40 to +80 °C.

FAQ
Is the GPSB5G a MIMO antenna?
No. Panorama lists the GPSB5G cellular function as SISO, a single cellular element. It suits routers or modems that need one external cellular antenna along with Wi-Fi and GPS. If your router uses 2x2 MIMO cellular, a SHKG or GPSD Sharkee with two cellular elements will make better use of the router.
Can I add a two-way radio whip?
Yes. Panorama designed the GPSB5G to allow a range of mobile radio whips, so a single sharkfin can carry data, Wi-Fi, GPS and voice radio. The whip connection uses an FME male connector. The whip itself is sold separately, so match it to your radio band and confirm the roof panel is suitable.
What connectors does it use?
Each function has its own connector on the GPSB5G: SMA male for cellular, SMA female for Wi-Fi, FME female for GPS and FME male for the whip. Most routers use SMA or RP-SMA ports, so plan extension cables or adapters to suit your device. RCN can help you match cables before you order.
