Thankfully, Panorama Antennas offers the SH-IN2463 antenna, which meets these demands cost-effectively without sacrificing performance. This omnidirectional antenna provides multiple connections across long ranges and in the worst conditions. It integrates five antennas into a rugged dome and includes two cellular, two WiFi, and one active GPS/GNSS element. The 2x2 MIMO 4G LTE elements cover the 698 to 3800 MHz frequency range at a 50-watt maximum input power.

In addition to performance, this antenna can handle abuse. It operates nominally from temperatures ranging from -40 to 80℃. It offers stable mounting, and its IP66 rating means it is impervious to the incursions of dust and powerful water streams. The SH-IN2463 is a kit consisting of the SHKG-7-27-T24-58 antenna and a complete set of low loss double shielded extension cables in 16-foot lengths for each antenna, all terminating in SMA connectors. A ground plane is not required, and the antenna will operate when mounted on a non-metallic surface.

How is the SH-IN2463 installed?
The SH-IN2463 Sharkee antenna mounts through a single 18 mm (¾-inch) hole in the vehicle roof or panel surface. No ground plane is required—the antenna performs on both metallic and non-metallic mounting surfaces. The included 16-foot (5-meter) cables (CS23 for GPS; CS29 UN118.03 and EN45545-2 compliant for LTE and WiFi) route internally to the router. The discrete shark-fin design is well-suited for overt and covert vehicle placements.
What is the antenna element configuration and what connectors does it include?
The SH-IN2463 is a 6:1 antenna: 2 LTE (2x2 MIMO) + 3 WiFi (3x3 MIMO) + 1 GPS. Six cables are included in the kit. LTE and GPS elements use SMA male connectors; WiFi elements use RP-SMA connectors. Antenna dimensions are 172 mm L × 61 mm W × 50 mm H. Impedance is 50 ohms.
Is the SH-IN2463 compatible with Ericsson Cradlepoint routers, and what are its environmental ratings?
Yes. The SH-IN2463 is confirmed compatible with Ericsson Cradlepoint IBR900 and IBR1700 routers.
