That’s why networking professionals lean on Panorama and their family of rugged vehicle antennas such as the popular LG-IN2293. This 4x4 MIMO 4G cellular antenna with 4x4 MIMO WiFi and GPS/GNSS includes a hardened dome built for vehicle and cabinet mounting. The cellular elements cover the 617 to 3800 MHz frequency range and operate with the latest mobile cellular routers such as the Ericsson Cradlepoint IBR1700.
You may split the 4x4 MIMO LTE elements into two MIMO pairs for routers with dual SIM cards configured for failover. However, only one SIM may be active at a time because of insufficient isolation between the MIMO pairs; it is not intended to operate with concurrent SIM cards.
The compact dome is IP69K certified to resist water and dust and tough enough to withstand shock, vibration, weather, and severe temperatures. The LG-IN2293 is ground plane independent and may be placed on conductive or non-conductive surfaces. The antenna assembly secures to the top vehicle or cabinet through a single mounting hole, allowing the RF cables to run inside the hollow threaded bolt for protection and a clean installation. The LG-IN2293 kit consists of the LGMQM4-7-38-24-58 antenna and 16-foot RG174 low-loss ECE118.01 compliant cables.
