Panorama LPAM-BC3G-26 Compact IoT Antenna, Low Profile 2x2 MIMO 4G LTE

The LPAM-BC3G-26 is a compact 2x2 MIMO cellular antenna for IoT and M2M devices such as kiosks, vending machines, meters and remote monitoring panels. It moves the cellular elements outside the enclosure in a small, weatherproof dome.

It installs through a single mounting hole with an acrylic adhesive sealing pad, and the integrated RG174 cable ends in SMA male plugs. The housing is rated IP66 and works on conductive or non-conductive panels.

Will it work on a plastic or fiberglass enclosure?
Panorama states that the LP[G]AM-BC3G-26 can be fitted on a non-conductive panel if required, and lists it as able to perform on or off a conductive surface. Installation uses a single mounting hole and an acrylic adhesive sealing pad, so it suits kiosk tops, cabinets and vehicle panels without a separate ground plane.

Does it cover 5G?
Panorama lists the LP[G]AM-BC3G-26 at 698-960 MHz and 1710-3800 MHz and describes it for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G LTE bands within that range. It does not cover 600 MHz Band 71 or bands above 3.8 GHz. For full 617-6000 MHz coverage in a compact IoT antenna, look at the LPAM-6-60.

Which cable length should I choose?
Panorama supplies the antenna with integrated RG174 cable in 1 m (3.3 ft) or 3 m (10 ft) lengths with SMA male plugs. RG174 is thin and flexible but loses more signal over distance than thicker coax, so choose the shortest length that reaches your router. If the router sits farther away, ask RCN about a different antenna.
